The author defines the concept of a vector product in \({\mathbb C}^3\) by interpreting this space as a complex Lie algebra equipped with an additional structure of the Euclidean inner product \[ (x,y)=x_1y_1+x_2y_2+x_3y_3, \] \[ x=(x_1,x_2,x_3),\, y=(y_1,y_2,y_3)\in {\mathbb C}^3. \] The properties of such a product are studied.
