The paper studies the problem mentioned in the title, which formally can be stated as follows. Given two bounded smooth surfaces \(F\) and \(G\) in the three-dimensional Euclidean space \({\mathbb R}^3\), it is required to find a transformation \(H:{\mathbb R}^3\to {\mathbb R}^3\) preserving the angles and the distances that transforms \(F\) into \(G\). The authors suggests an iterative algorithm for solution of this problem. The uniqueness of the solution is also established.
