The author studies the preparatory processing of a pattern called (conditional) normalization. By a pattern he means an ordered tuple of numbers, dynamical or static. He proposes a transformation of a signal into a permutation system that allows us to compare the signal provided the hypothesis on the maximum information on the landscape of the function is satisfied.
