Remarks on Müntz rational approximation (Q1879062)

The authors got a better approximation rate near the end point zero than \textit{J. Bak} [On the efficiency of general rational approximation, J. Approx. Theory 20, 46--50 (1977; Zbl 0352.41011)] and \textit{D. S. Yu, J. L. Wang} and \textit{S. P. Zhou} [On the pointwise estimate for Muntz rational approximation (in Chinese), J. Zhejiang Univ. Sc. Ed. 28, No. 6, 597--600 (2001; Zbl 0997.41008)]. Authors established a theorem of Ditzian-Totik type.
