Unbounded one-dimensional global attractor for the damped sine-Gordon equation (Q1879463)

The authors deal with the long-time behaviour of the damped sine-Gordon equation with homogeneous Neumann boundary condition. Using ``dissipativity'' phenomena, the authors show that the equation has an unbounded one-dimensional global attractor in a suitably choosen functional space, when the ``damping'' and the ``diffusion'' are not very small.
