The authors propose a new RNS-sign-detector-algorithm based on the new Chinese remainder theorem II. In this new technique there is no need to complete the conversion process to detect the sign of RNS. The only value which is needed is \(L(x)\). This eliminates the big multiplier \((P_3,P_4)\). Therefore, this elimination reduces the hardware implementation of RNS sign detection as shown in Figure 2 of the paper.
