The paper is concerned with the existence of eventually positive solutions of the fourth-order differential equation \[ (| u''| ^{\alpha-1}u'')''+q(t)| u| ^{\beta-1}u=0. \] The authors present necessary and sufficient integral existence conditions for the cases \(0<\alpha<\beta\) and \(0<\beta<\alpha\).
