The mechatronic servo system is the major theme studied in this book. The problems discussed are based on the common needs of industries rather than the on pending problems of research engineer in industry. The results are adapted for a real machine, and various performances of control methods are shown using the obtained results. The book is divided into the following chapters: 1. Outline of Mechatronic Servo Systems; 2. Mathematical Model Construction of a Mechatronic Servo System; 3. Discrete Time Interval of a Mechatronic Servo System; 4. Quantization Error of a Mechatronic Servo System; 5. Torque Saturation of a Mechatronic Servo System; 6. The Modified Taught Data Method; 7. Master-Slave Synchronous Positioning Control. The book contains an index, a glossary of terms, a collection of symbols and a description of experimental devices used in experiments. The book will be useful not only in the research or teaching the mechatronic techniques, but also to specialists working in mechanical engineering.
