The author studies positively homogeneous Hamiltonian systems in the plane. He tries to generalize some classical results of a scalar second-order differential equation to the case under consideration. In particular, he gives some sufficient conditions for the existence and multiplicity of periodic solutions, quasi-periodic solutions as well as boundedness of solutions. These results have been obtained by several authors in the case of scalar second-order differential equations.
