First, the authors discuss in detail the construction process of subjective probability proposed by de Finetti (mostly based on Bayes' formula). Second, they analyze some aspects of temporal coherence and point out some differences between conditional probabilities via Bayes' formula and true posterior distributions that is, temporally updated probabilities via some updating procedure. Interesting numerical examples are given. The references provide a valuable source of information on the topic.
