Admissible metrics for line bundles on curves and abelian varieties over non-archimedean local fields (Q1881518)

Let \(C\) be a smooth proper curve over \(\mathbb{Q}_p\). Following a suggestion of \textit{S. Zhang} [Invent. Math. 112, No.~1, 171--193 (1993; Zbl 0795.14015)] the author defines admissible metrics on line bundles over \(C\) by pulling back admissible metrics from its Jacobian. He then gives an axiomatic description of those metrics and analyses in some detail the bi-admissible metrics on the line bundle corresponding to the diagonal embedding \(C\to C\times C\).
