A linearized Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert equation is proved to admit a superposition principle using Lie's theorem on superposition. Moreover, a superposition formula is deduced. Furthermore, the inherent symmetries of the Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert equation are investigated. Numerical procedures based on the group preserving scheme are explored which will be of interest in applications.
