The paper contains the derivation of general solutions for displacements and for the associated pressure increment in the case of a frictionless enclosure. The authors also derive an exact relation between the frequencies of edge vibration and the speed of Rayleigh surface wave. Some numerical results are given for free and forced vibrations of neo-Hookean and Varga materials.
