The author studies the BMAP/G/1/\(\infty\) queue with foreground-background processor-sharing discipline. Some known results for the M/G/1/\(\infty\) queue on the stationary sojourn time distribution and the stationary distribution of the number of customers in the system are generalized to the present setting.
