The paper analyzes recent progress in the development of virtual reality interfaces and proposes a new model of virtual reality interfaces defined in terms of functional units and their interrelations. The practical identification of the model is based on experimental methods. The authors consider in detail the estimation of the interactive methods of manipulation of virtual objects.
