The known problem of identification of experimental trends, which arises in the process of technical diagnostics in object observation, is discussed. The essence consists in identification of an unknown trend function by a finite amount of data. The author introduces a family of linear integral transformations of a special type which generalize the standard Laplace transformation. The main result consists in substantiation of a fact that can be used for solving a number of problems of trend identification. General constructions are illustrated by examples
