Oscillation criteria for nonlinear second order damped differential equations (Q1882127)

Here, by means of the generalized Riccati technique and the integral averaging technique, several new oscillation criteria for a class of second-order nonlinear damped differential equations are established. The results extend, improve and unify a number of existing results and handle the cases which are not covered by known criteria. Several interesting examples are included.
