A Galois connection between sup-lattices \(L\) and \(R\) can be described as a sup-lattice homomorphism \(L\times R\to 2\). The author calls such homomorphisms 2-forms and shows that they provide a useful framework to study quantales, modules over quantales and their relation to \(C^*\)-algebras.
