A new decentralized adaptive control scheme with a reference model for dynamical systems is designed. Unlike the existing schemes, the new scheme utilizes coordinating information on reference signals for other subsystems in every local controller. Such a scheme ensures the stability of a closed-loop system and guarantees limiting zero tracking error even if there is indeterminacy in the subsystems and interconnections. The current information processing is completely decentralized.
