This paper concerns a mathematical model describing the propagation of a hantavirus within a population of bank voles. This model includes the age-dependence and the time elapsed since an individual is infected and consists of a weakly coupled system of hyperbolic equations featuring nonlocal nonlinearities. A global existence and uniqueness result is obtained.
