Rate of convergence by the Bezier variant of Philips operators for bounded variation functions (Q1884552)

The Bézier variant of Phillips operators is introduced.The rate of convergence for these operators is studied ,when the approximated function is a bounded variation function.The paper generalizes (for the Bezier variant) the results earlier obtained by \textit{V. Gupta} and \textit{G. S. Srivastava} [On the rate of convergence of Phillips operators for functions of bounded variation, Ann. Soc. Math. Pol., Ser. I, Commentat. Math. 36, 123--130 (1996; Zbl 0867.41015)].
