The authors consider the second order neutral type difference equation \[ \Delta^2 (y_n-py_{n-k})-q_n f(y_{n-\ell})=0, \quad n=1,2,\dots. \] Sufficient conditions are established for all bounded solutions of this equation to be oscillatory. Examples are also presented to illustrate the results obtained.
