The paper is concerned with the space of distributions of exponential growth supported by a closed convex proper cone. The author gives two characterizations of this space: as derivatives of bounded continuous functions, with supports contained in the proper convex cone times a suitable exponential, and as boundary values of solutions of the heat equation satisfying some exponential growth condition. This latter description is used to obtain a Paley-Wiener type theorem.
