The authors investigate the controllability of certain switched systems which are an important class of hybrid systems with time-delay. They address the specific problem formulation, a mathematical model of switched linear systems with time-delay, and a basic definition of the switching sequence. In addition, the authors investigate the controllability of switched linear systems in the single delay case and the multiple delay case.
