The paper describes a linear matrix inequality (LMI) formulation for designing observer-based robust controllers for linear systems affected by norm-bounded uncertainty. The author makes use of standard arguments (Schur complement, quadratic Lyapunov function) to derive his results. It is not clear however what is the actual contribution of this paper with respect to the technical literature specialized in control systems.
