Oscillation criteria of second order nonlinear matrix differential systems (Q1888544)

The authors establish new oscillation criteria for the second-order nonlinear matrix differential system \[ (P(t)Y'(t))'+F(t,Y(t),Y'(t))=0, \quad t\geq t_0, \] where \(P(t)\), \(Y(t)\) and \(F(t,Y(t),Y'(t))\) are real continuous \(n\times n\)-matrix functions, and \(P(t)>0\) is a positive definite and symmetric one. The used method is based on a parameter function \(h(t,s)\) and the Riccati transformation. The obtained results generalize and improve some known results in the literature.
