The paper is a continuation of the author's contributions quoted among the references. This approach is called by the author as the method of shift along the trajctories. This time, the extension is related to boundary value problems associated with ordinary differential equations and inclusions with discontinuities. The topological structure of the solution sets is mainly employed with degree arguments and guiding functions. Special attention is paid to a periodic boundary value problem.
