Elliptic deformation of the Randall-Sundrum metric (Q1889872)

First, the author presents the Randall and Sundrum metric [cf. \textit{L. Randall} and \textit{R. Sundrum}, Phys. Rev. Lett. 83, No. 17, 3370--3373 (1999; Zbl 0946.81063) and 83, 4690--4693 (1999; Zbl 0946.81074)] and two models, the non-periodic model and the two pendulums model. Then, by using two scalar fields, he constructs a deformation of the Randall and Sundrum metric. The construction depends on two parameters: the period of the scalar fields and the period of the fifth dimension, wich are related by means of the constants of gravitation of both \({\mathcal V}_5\) and \({\mathcal V}_4\).
