The authors study the slip theory of polycrystal creep under nonradial loadings. Since the creep deformation occurs in ductile metals without cracks, the conditions of equilibrium and continuity of displacements are satisfied throughout the polycrystals. The authors develop a method satisfying both of these conditions to derive the macroscopic polycrystal stress-strain-time relation from that of the components crystals. Mechanical equations of state have been shown to represent approximately the polycrystal creep behaviour under tensile loadings. This work is very interesting and may find readers working in the area of creep theory and plasticity.
