This paper introduces a new technique for solving electromagnetic fields problems. The new technique, the neo-finite-difference method allows the selection of larger time steps and still achieves accurate results by describing the time derivative by an arc instead of a straight line. An excellent theoretical introduction of the proposed technique is given, and the authors show, based on practical simulations, that the new technique improves both accuracy and stability without increasing computation time per time step.
