The paper is concerned with the theory of elastic materials with voids . First, we derive decay estimates in a linear isotropic homogeneous elastic non-prismatic cylinder in the framework of the equilibrium theory. Then, we establish energy bounds for the theory of steady vibrations, as well for the dynamical theory.
