The following results are proved: Theorem. \(X\) has decreasing \((A)\) iff \(X\) is \(BN\). Theorem. Decreasing \((G)\) spaces have the Dugundji extension property. The proof that stratifiable spaces have the Dugundji extension property deos not extend to linearly stratifiable spaces, as claimed by the reviewer.
