If \(R\) is a noetherian ring and \(X\) an indeterminate then \(\text{Uspec} R[X]\) denotes the ordered set of prime ideals \(p\) in \(R[X]\) for which \(p \neq (p \cap R) R[X]\). The author characterizes those finite ordered sets that can be embedded in \(\text{Uspec} R[X]\).
