The aim of this note is to construct a toroidal polyhedron which admits a tiling of Euclidean three-space. The presented polyhedron is homotopic to a trefoil knot. The idea of the construction can be generalized and used to obtain space-filling knotted polyhedron corresponding to an arbitrary type of knot. The author informs that similar results were obtained by a few other mathematicians independently soon after Egon Schulte announced this problem in 1993. For instance see the paper of \textit{W. Kuperberg} [ibid. 13, No. 3-4, 561-567 (1995)].
