The authors study the nonlinear stability of a rotating doubly diffusive porous layer bounded by two planes and maintained at different temperatures. The Lyapunov direct method is applied to the non-linear conditional stability problem. Finally, the authors discuss effects of different parameters on the critical thermal Rayleigh number which governs the stability.
