Summary: This work is concerned with a class of curves of the plane: the \(QI\)- circles. A \(QI\)-circle is a curve \(\Gamma \subset \mathbb{R}^ 2\) on which acts homogeneously a 1-parameter group of quasi-isometric mappings of the plane. We give geometric and analytic conditions characterizing these curves. Furtheron, their fractal behaviour is analyzed and we classify them up to quasi-isometric mappings.
