A method is proposed to find the eigenvalues and eigenvectors of nonsymmetric matrices. The nonsymmetric matrices studied are of the type of harmonic sequence-termed (HST) matrices. A numerical example is given, the convergence rates and spectral radii are tabulated. Formulas for the eigenvalues of an HST matrix and for the spectral radii are derived.
