On decompositions of quasicontinuity (Q1894659)

There are many papers which deal with decompositions of continuity [see for example; the authors, Rend. Ist. Mat. Univ. Trieste 20, No. 2, 275- 282 (1988; Zbl 0716.54008); \textit{L. A. Fudali}, Math. Slovaca 33, 53-58 (1983; Zbl 0512.54007); \textit{J. Smítal} and \textit{E. Stanová}, Acta Math. Univ. Comenianae 37, 147-155 (1980; Zbl 0554.26003); \textit{Ľ. Holá}, ibid. 52/53, 159-165 (1987; Zbl 0742.54007)]. The purpose of this note is to investigate similar questions for quasicontinuity. A characterization of cliquishness on Baire spaces is given.
