The aim of the paper is to extend results from the classical duality theory of locally noetherian schemes [\textit{R. Hartshorne}, ``Residues and duality'', Lect. Notes Math. 20 (Berlin 1966; Zbl 0212.26101)] as well as from the duality theory of the first two authors and \textit{A. V. Verschoren} [J. Pure Appl. Algebra 94, No. 2. 127-141 (1994; Zbl 0812.16040)] to the wider category of schemes containing some generically stable subset of finite type.
