The author considers a certain type of integral curves with only nodes and ordinary cusps as unique singularities. On these curves he considers the Weierstrass points of such curves and shows that, in characteristic 0, the monodromy group is exactly the full symmetric group. At the end of the paper, the author adds an appendix to consider the situation when the characteristic is bigger than \(2g - 2\), where \(g\) is the genus of the curve. In fact, he shows that the results for characteristic zero remain still true.
