On exact actions of unipotent groups (Q1895735)

Let \(X\) be an affine variety over the field \(k\) of complex numbers and \(U\) be a unipotent algebraic group defined over \(k\), suppose that \(U\) acts rationally on \(X\). The \(U\)-action on \(X\) is \(d\)-exact if it is exact for every \(d\)-dimensional closed subgroup of \(U\). The main result of the paper shows that any affine variety with a \(d\)-exact action of a unipotent subgroup can be embedded in an affine space preserving \(d\)-exactness.
