Let \(L\) be a skew field with a central subfield \(K\) and let \(\dim_KL=n\). The author proves that if \(A\) and \(B\) are nonzero subspaces of the \(K\)-vector space \(L\) and \(\dim A+\dim B\leq n\), then there exists \(x\) in \(L^*\) such that \(xA\cap B=0\).
