This paper studies invariant \(G\)-structures on the affine symplectic group \(\mathbb{R}^{2m}\cdot \text{Sp}(2m,\mathbb{R})\) by the method of S. V. Vedernikov. Among other results, the author obtains as a corollary that any symplectic surface locally admits a pseudo-Riemannian metric.
