Axially symmetric thermal stress of an external circular crack under general thermal conditions (Q1896802)

An axisymmetric boundary value problem of thermoelasticity is considered in the space containing a circular crack. Axisymmetric mechanical loadings and thermal conditions are applied on the crack faces. Expressions for stress, displacement, temperature and the heat flux functions are obtained in terms of Abel transforms of the first kind of jumps of stress, displacement, temperature and heat flux across the crack plane. Explicit expressions for stresses, displacements, temperature and stress intensity factors have been obtained.
