This study is an answer to an attack on the self-consistency of special theory of relativity. Perform two Lorentz transformations from one inertial observer by a second inertial observer to a third inertial observer, what do you get? The main idea is the composition of two Lorentz transformations with ``parallel spatial axes'' in general is not of the same form. The tool is simply a careful study of multiplication of matrices.
