The author looks at Yang-Baxter operators \(S : E \otimes E \to E \otimes E\) on a \((\Gamma\)-graded) complex vector space \(E\) which satisfy \(S^2 = 1\). In particular, he looks at cases where \(E,S\) can be universally replaced by another space \(E'\) equipped with the usual (super)symmetry.
