The authors treat equating as statistical process which is used to adjust scores on test forms so that scores on the forms can be used interchangeably. The book is organized to enable the reader to understand the purpose of equating, distinguish between equating and other related methodologies, conduct equating in realistic testing situations and interpret the results from equating analyses. The book is organized in eight chapters, each having a set of exercises. The answers are in Appendix A. Appendix B describes the data sets and computer programs.
