This paper is an attempt to provide a practical method to calculate the flow about several thin obstacles in two-dimensional incompressible flow without using the classical method of conformal mapping. The complex velocity fields are formulated in terms of the Hilbert transform on Lipschitz curves, and an existence theorem is proved. For each trailing edge the Kutta-Joukowski condition is fulfilled. As an application, Green's function and Neumann's functions are compiled by using the Hilbert transform.
