In this paper the authors develop a general theory of Banach modules. The relationship between \(L' (G)\)-modules and \(G\)-modules is presented. Among other results the authors prove that if \(\varphi : G \to X\) is bounded and \(\Delta_s \varphi = \varphi_s - \varphi\) is uniformly continuous for all \(s \in G\), then \(\varphi\) is uniformly continuous.
