The paper aims at studying the spinning particle and its symmetries. It begins with the method of finding symmetries for a scalar particle, which is continued for a spinning particle. The knowledge of symmetries acquired is then applied to the case a particle with spin which moves in Schwarzschild space-time. On solving the equations of motion (in a plane), the author finds that the spin of the particle will give a contribution to the gravitational redshift, to the precession of the perihelion in the case of bounded orbits and to the scattering angle in the case of scattered states. For the general case, the paper describes a special class of symmetries as a generalization of supersymmetry. An example of such a supersymmetry is found in the case of the Kerr-Newman metric.
